Beyonce’s long-awaited Mrs Carter world tour has kicked off in Serbia with a show big on old favourites but lacking in new material.
The singer took to the stage in the capital, Belgrade, to perform a string of hits including  Single Ladies, Love On Top, Crazy In Love and Halo – accompanied by numerous costume changes.
And Destiny’s Child songs, including Survivor, also made it on to the set list – but there was no sign of her new track Grown Woman or Bow Down/I Been On which she recently released via her Tumblr page.
Despite the lack of new tracks, Beyonce kept fans happy with a spectacular show which saw her perform in a string of varying skimpy outfits.
Her costume changes ranged from a tiny white dress festooned with pearls by Ralph and Russo Couture, through to a sparkling blue catsuit and a black beaded mesh leotard.

However she raised the most eyebrows with a shiny gold bodysuit which came complete with fake breasts – giving the cheeky impression that she had arrived on stage in the nude.
The tour is due to take the singer to Croatia, Slovakia, the Netherlands and France before arriving in the UK and Ireland later this month.
She is due to play shows in Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin as well as six nights at London’s O2 Arena.
The European leg of Beyonce’s tour will end in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 29, and will be followed by a month’s break before the North American leg commences in late June, until August.

BEAUTY DECISIONS MADE FOR YOU.

Beauty Kit

1.Should I let a manicurist cut my cuticles?
Dermatologists say no, but what an eyesore! The cuticle protects the nail as it grows; when you cut it, you run the risk of deforming the nail. But we see your point. Loretta Ciraldo, MD, a dermatologist in Miami, suggests having your manicurist push back your cuticles for the first few visits; then, if you feel that she has been very conscientious and careful, ask her to gently trim only the dried-out part of the cuticle.

2. Should I shave or wax my legs?
Shaving is much less expensive, but you have to do it every two to three days; full leg waxing at a salon can cost anywhere from eight thousand Naira ($40 to $100), but you can typically wait almost a month between repeats. If your hair is very coarse, shaving may cause razor bumps (a.k.a. pseudofolliculitis barbae), which occur when newly cut strands of hair curl in on themselves and grow into the skin. So if you can afford it, wax.

3. Is it harmful to wash my hair every day?
No. "You wash your face every day, and your hair encounters the same amount of dirt," says trichologist Philip Kingsley, who points out that a clean, flake-free scalp will lead to thicker and stronger hair. If your hair is very dry, try using a conditioner made for dry, damaged hair, along with a leave-in conditioner. One caveat: The combination of washing and then using a blow-dryer or flatiron daily can damage hair, so limit your use of heated tools to every other or every third day. And a clarification: The idea that you need to rotate your hair products for your hair to be its healthiest is a myth. "If you're constantly changing brands, you'll probably just get confused about which ones worked best for you," says Kingsley. "Think of how you would describe your hair [fine, limp, dry, thick, oily], and then find good corresponding products and stick with them."

4. What's the best kind of blow-dryer?
If you want to dry your hair quickly without damaging it, invest in an ionic dryer that's between 1,500 and 1,800 watts, says New York City hairstylist Patrick Melville. (One of his favorites is the very lightweight FHI Heat Nano Weight Pro 1800, $150.) And buy one that comes with a nozzle attachment, which will prevent you from holding the dryer too close to your hair.

5. What's the most effective anti-aging product I can buy?
A broad-spectrum sunscreen. Avobenzone and Mexoryl (chemical absorbers) are most effective against UVA rays, while zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (physical blockers) will shield against UVA and UVB rays. Try Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 or Nia 24 Sun Damage Prevention SPF 30. If you already have sun damage (wrinkles, age spots, thin skin), you should also buy a serum or cream that contains high levels of scientifically studied ingredients such as retinol; vitamins C, B3, and B5; and glycolic acid. And use it religiously; treating aging skin takes months to years, not days.

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SKIN TYPE

It's easy. Wash your face with a cleanser designed for normal skin; rinse well, and pat dry with a soft towel. Now pick up a copy of Alan Bennett's The Uncommon Reader. It's a short, funny book, and if you're undistracted you can probably finish it in about an hour—exactly when your skin will be ready to evaluate. How does it feel? If it's tight, ashy or flaky, your complexion is dry, says Susan Taylor, MD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Columbia University. If you're oily only across the forehead, down the nose and on the chin, you've got combination skin; and if you need to blot your whole face with a tissue, you're oily. If your face feels irritated or slightly itchy, you likely have sensitive skin.

Bottom line: Once you've established your skin type, repeat the test four times a year, because your skin probably changes seasonally.

Fact: Your skin may or may not age just like your mother's. There are many factors involved in your overall appearance. Yes, genetics from both your mother's and your father's side play a role, but lifestyle choices and your health also influence how you will age.

FINDING THE RIGHT CONCEALERS

Finding the right concealer has long been one of the great mysteries of the beauty universe: Like theories about dark matter, theories about concealer have been legion (if not quite as mind-blowing). Is the perfect concealer lighter than your complexion? A quarter shade darker? Do you test it on the pad of your thumb or around your nose? You'll be relieved to know that if you have about an hour (including travel time) and a hand mirror, you can find exactly what you need at a department store. It's deceptively simple. But first you must find the right foundation shade, says makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Take your freshly washed, unmade-up face to the store and swipe several shades of foundation just above your jawline. Now slip out to the sidewalk with your mirror and, in the natural (probably unflattering) light of day, see which swipe disappears into your skin. That's the foundation to call your own. Head back into the store for your concealer, which should be just one shade lighter than the foundation.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAKEUP LAST LONGER

1. After moisturizing, apply liquid foundation with a nonlatex sponge (for blending well). Be sure to cover your undereye area and eyelids: Not only will you need less concealer but the foundation will help eye makeup adhere to your skin.

2. Apply a brightening concealer on any dark shadows you can still see under your eyes.

3. With a large, fluffy brush, dust a sheer, translucent powder over your entire face, including your lids.

4. Apply a touch of slightly shimmery highlighter (white, vanilla, champagne, or pale gold) under your brows, in the corners of your eyes, and on the tops of your cheekbones.

5. Using feathery strokes, fill in your brows with a brow pencil a shade lighter than your natural brow (or hair) color.

6. Line your upper lashline with a waterproof gel eyeliner.

7. Apply a couple of coats of black mascara. Carmindy recommends Blinc Mascara (because it never smudges but is easily removed.

8. Dust the apples of your cheeks with a powder blush (which lasts longer than a cream).

9. Apply a lip stain under your lipstick or gloss; the stain will tint your lips even if the other color wears off.

Keep in mind: If your face tends to get shiny during the day, carry a pressed translucent powder compact in your bag for touch-ups.
